Creative Ways to Organize Your Pinterest Boards

With 200 monthly users, Pinterest is a hot platform for businesses that want to reach their customers with interactive visuals. They are constantly innovating and adding new features to the image centric platform, which makes it easier to use and organize. You can now create sections within your large boards to further tidy up your pins.
If your business provides services and not products, coming up with photos and imagery for your brand can be difficult. It takes a lot of creativity and pioneering new ideas to create content. If you do have products, it can be hard to get out of the box with ideas beyond photos of your products. Here are some creative ideas for your brand’s Pinterest boards.
Behind the Scenes. What goes on behind the scenes of your company? What does your process look like? What does a day in the life at the office or store front look like? Give your followers an inside look at what goes into making your brand run smoothly. Example: Grand Images
Run a marketing campaign. Like GE’s #GetFit campaign, create a campaign with a hashtag that you can showcase. This is a great way to create user generated content and showcase it. Find a cause your brand supports and run a fun campaign to use for social.
Meet the team. Let your followers get to know the people behind your business. Petplan Insurance has a great board with photos of the team and their pets. Let your employees share their favorite product, their work on site, how they interact with clients or customers, or in your storefront. Get inventive! Show your followers the faces that make up your team. It adds a personal element and makes your brand seem more approachable and friendly.
User generated content. Those three magic words. Getting your followers to engage and share content with your products or services is key. If they share photos of your brand, show them off! Create a board dedicated to user generated content. Coca-Cola has a whole board of their favorite photography featuring Coke bottles and logos.
Inspiration. What makes you say wow? What inspires you and your brand? Create a board of images you love that inspire your business ideas. Paper Crown has a stunning inspiration board where they house all of their favorite images that move them, spark creativity, and provoke new ideas.
